Used a B&W adjustment layer, custom Curves adjustment layer & gradient adjustment layer to produce something a little different Salvaged from what can only be described as a very unremarkable photograph. Not so much a sketch effect but a stylised Black and White PS tritone An attempt at making a glass butterfly from one of the custom shapes in PS Image from DeviantART ... made individual selections of shadow and midtones using colour range and then used over laying layer fx Probably better for the clicking on Version 2: A reworking of a previous upload ... over sharpened, added noise and television scan lines and the record icon Don't go jumping to conclusions about this one, the chances are you are going to be way way off the mark. My interpretation of a tutorial by Corey Barker using the 3D tools in PS CS5 Extended everything created in photoshop taken at WW2 reenactment Sofa hog Jess doing what she does best black and white conversion using Silver Efex Pro 2 two shots were taken, one for the background to try and get a Monet poppy field sort of look and one for the foreground poppy
