From about seven or eight I was crazy in love with Macgyver TV show. It hard to believe I was hanging on the edge of my seat, pulse hammering with excitement and waiting with fear between each ad. Another fearful thought is watching a two partier. I could never sleep with excitement. Also I dream to be related to Macgyver (not Richard Dean Anderson but his character). From seven and eight I thought of him as my uncle. It was only much later I discovered they were making a Young Macgyver in 2003. The actor is Jared Padalecki (the actor from Supernatural) and he plays Angus Macgyver's nephew Clay Macgyver. From early research Angus Macgyver was an only child, so how can he be an uncle? It extended to one episode. In one of the last episode call ‘The Stringer’, Angus Macgyver discovered he had a son from a former girlfriend in college. I would have gone a different approach in young Macgyver. Maybe start at the beginning before Mac joins the Phoenix Foundation. Maybe based it when Macgyver is in collage. In the TV show he talk over his collage years and what he did. I could defiantly picture it that way. The theme I place on the image is a fifties retro look with my own flavour. Using elements like a missile, explosions, pocketknife and a calculator. Which symbolism the whole essences of ‘Macgyver’.

This is a band I heard in the city. The music was nothing I ever heard. I can only make out it a mix of Jazz. I had a fun time take photos. But it was difficult hold my new camera while enjoy the music. Special Thanks to Toby Dixon. A photographer genious and a good friend

My daughter took this photo of herself in the mirror, as teenagers do. I desaturated the photo, increased contast, added a photo I'd taken of a flower, and used various paint brushes and textures to blend together to create this effect.

With this photo of my daughter, I desaturated the photo, played around with levels, added a photo of a flower and blended with layers of texture and color.
